Hi everyone! So we’re finally done with the makeup products now we’re on to hair, body and skincare products. I asked you loves whether you wanted to see this and most of you guys wanted to so here it is. This will be a bit different though because I’ll be showing you a ton of products, so I might not be as detailed as I was before on my previous ‘Faves’ post. Anyway, on to the list..

HAIR CARE

Vidal Sassoon Premium Color Care Line
Shampoo, Conditioner, Intensive Hair Mask & Treatment

I started using this ever since I had my hair colored and I really liked the results. It keeps my hair moisturized and tangle-free. I lathers well, and smells rather refreshing too. Further, these are the only non-anti hair fall products that I’ve used that didn’t make me look like I need to go back to my old shampoo/conditioner (if that make’s sense).

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel
& Batiste A Hint of Color for Medium & Brunettes Dry Shampoo

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel – This product can be used not only on your body but it can also be used for your hair, nails, lips. But as for me, I only use this product to moisturize my hair and nails. Ever since I started using this I’ve been seeing a lot more baby hairs than I used to before considering that I’m not really using a shampoo/conditioner specialized for hair growth/anti-hair fall. Also, I love how my hair feels after when I use this. It feels a lot more manageable, tangle-free (doesn’t matter what shampoo I use), softer, healthier. Okay, I think I sounded as though I’m advertising the product. But seriously though, this is one of my HG products when it comes my hair. I love it and I’ve recommended it to my friends as well and they loved it too. I also use it for my nails and they don’t chip as often anymore, when I started applying it, so I guess that says something.

Batiste A Hint Of Color For Medium & Brunettes Dry Shampoo – This! I have been saving this until I can finally buy another bottle because THIS is definitely the best volumizing/texturizing product I have ever used. Well, come to think of it, this is actually the first Dry Shampoo I’ve ever used. But regardless, this product is AH-MAH-ZING. And I think it doesn’t really matter what variant you got, as long as it is BATISTE, you’re bound to love it no matter what. But as for me, once this one’s empty I’m going to get the one that’s a tad bit darker since it can still give you that light ‘powder’ substance on top of your head. But oh well, still, I LOVE THIS and I’ve been getting compliments about my hair ever since I got it. Some of my friends even thought I had a hair cut, which is completely bogus since I had my last hair cut when I had my hair colored.

BODY PRODUCTS

L-R: The Cream Factory Bath Cream (in Goats Milk & Acai Berry), Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion, Saforelle Gentle Cleansing Care & The Cream Factory (in Goats Milk & Honey)

The Cream Factory Bath Cream (in Goats Milk & Honey and Goats Milk & Acai Berry) - I LAH-OVE these bath creams. I use them alternately (an idea that I got from Genzel, lol) with each other. They’re both very moisturizing and they smell OH-SO-GOOD. Their scent lingers even after you’ve already taken your bath and it leaves your skin soft & smooth… Gggrr! I just love this! I can’t wait to use their Scrub In A Tub.

Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion - I really like this lotion. I’ve used other lotions before and even while using this product and nothing beats this one. This one leaves my skin feel so soft, smooth and supple even the day after I applied it. It’s not that greasy, it gets easily absorbed by the skin and it doesn’t feel so heavy or sticky. Just the perfect consistency for a body lotion, but still very moisturizing.

Saforelle Gentle Cleansing Care - This is the gentlest intimate wash I’ve ever used. This may be a TMI for some but come on, we’re mostly girls here… But ever since I started using this, I’ve never felt more comfortable. AND what’s more is that you can also use it for the other parts of your body. It’s definitely more than an intimate wash. Definitely a keeper.

FACE/SKIN CARE PRODUCTS

L-R: Bifesta Bright Up Cleansing Lotion, ZA Perfect Solution Cleansing Foam, Moringa-O Malunggay Herbal Facial Toner, Glory Of New York Skin Enzyme, Celeteque Acne Spot Correcting Gel, Hayan Aesthetic Vitamin Eye Cream, Moisturizer & Serum

Bifesta Bright Up Cleansing Lotion - I’ve gone through countless of bottles of these just last 2013 and I’ve already tried three variants – Moist, Age Care and Bright Up and my favorite is actually the third. This cleanser feels like water but removes my makeup effectively without leaving me with tons of breakouts after. Of course, this doesn’t get rid of my waterproof makeup such as the mascara, liquid eyeliner, etc, but still, it works if you’re just going to remove your face makeup and leave the rest to your oil-based makeup remover.

ZA Perfect Solution Cleansing Foam - I’ve gone through tons of facial foams last year, but this one definitely made a statement.I love the way it lathers and feels right after I use it. It gets rid of the dirt, makeup residues, and leaves my face squeaky clean.

Moringa-O Malungay Herbal Facial Toner - I’ve encountered a number of toners last year, but this one really stood out. It’s specialized for people with dry & sensitive skin, and it’s a good and effective cleanser/toner. It gets rid of the excess dirt/makeup residues while at the same time, it helps moisturize my skin. Also, with just using this, I’ve noticed that some of the redness & dark spots that I used to have near my T-zone have completely lightened. I may be using a different toner today, but I will always go back to this one, and this is something that I definitely, highly recommend.

Glory Of New York Skin Enzyme - I used to think that this is just like the famous Cure Natural Aqua Gel, but no. This is actually WAYY better and even my mama loves using this one. There are times when Cure doesn’t work for me (tbqh) and I for one thought maybe there’s nothing to exfoliate, but even after long intervals, it just doesn’t work for me. Until I found this in my loot bag. I was so excited to try it because a lot of beauty gurus have been raving about it. Without thinking twice, I opened it and used it right away. It worked like crazy! I was getting rid of the dead skin all over my face. Before, I used to think that there are only parts wherein I can get some, when I used this, I completely got rid of my dry patches within just a week of using this (used thrice). There’s no irritation afterwards, no stinging sensation, nor does it hurt. At first I was scared that I might’ve exfoliated too much, but there were no irritations after so I’m 99% sure I’m doing the right thing. I love this product, and though this is a bit more expensive than Cure (regular price – I believe they’re selling travel sizes now, though) I’ll gladly pick this any day over any ‘gentle exfoliant’.

Celeteque Acne Spot Correcting Gel - This is the best & most affordable acne-spot correcting treatment I’ve ever tried. There are some that are really good, but they’re also really expensive. I’ve also tried those which are affordable, and they also work but they when the pimple’s completely gone, then I have another problem. Either that part is really dry or I have some weird discolorations in that area. I know weird. Ending is, I keep on using that product or looking for a new treatment product that will get rid of those spots. Ugh. (I hope I made sense :P) But this product is different, since it’s really mild yet effective. It completely gets rid of my pimples without leaving any weird marks/spots, or whatever. I love it. My face doesn’t feel dry after using it as well. It’s really effective and affordable.

Hayan Aesthetic Vitamins Eye Cream - I’ve been using a couple of eye creams last 2013 but this one is completely different. I’m really head over heels with this product. My under eye area is usually dry but ever since I started using this, I’ve never had that problem anymore. It’s the most moisturizing eye cream I have ever tried, oh! and it smells good too! It’s not the best in eliminating dark circles, so if you’re looking for an eye cream that will help address that problem, then this is not for you. The ‘Snail’ version of this one, however, will help you in that problem.

Hayan Aesthetic Vitamins Moisturizer & Serum - These products are one of the most moisturizing facial creams I have ever tried. Seriously speaking. You guys know that I have normal to dry skin but when my skin’s dry it’s really dry so I’m always on my quest to finding a good and effective moisturizer. These products (the moisturizer & the serum) are not only effective but they’re also affordable, which is actually a good combo if you ask me. These products helped me in eliminating the dry patches all over my face. The moisturizer is not the lightest in terms of texture and formula, and it’s definitely not something you would want to prime your face with, but it really works. The serum is definitely effective and makes my face feel soft and supple the next day. I’ve been trying out different skin care lines all throughout the entire year 2013, but this one definitely made a statement.

So those are the hair, body & skin care products that made it into my list of favorites for the year 2013. How about you? What are your favorite hair, body & skin care products the past year? See you the week after this one!
