Summer Strut 2014
As I have mentioned in several other posts, I was working with 2 amazing friends of mine to produce Portland's first plus size multi designer fashion show! The name is Summer Strut and it was absolutely insane. 8 designers new and seasoned with plus size fashions to bestow upon Portland and hopefully beyond with the gloriousness of the internet.
We hosted the event at the White Owl Social Club which has a stellar back patio setting where the fashion show took place. We have fantastic sponsors like Look/See Optical, Flask 2Go, Portland Mercury and my personal favorite, bringing you all the hottest plus size fashion news and trends, SKORCH Magazine! Our MC was Carla Rossi, DJ Bruce La Bruiser & Beyondadoubt.
These designers showed us fashion available in a range of sizes from lx-5x and beyond! And I can't forget all of the amazing models we had for this event. I'm pretty sure non of them had walked in a fashion show before and you would not have known it. They were happy, gorgeous and just oozed confidence and many walked down the catwalk in bikinis and skimpy outfits ready for summer.
