Summertime Commitments
Like always, I’m running on fumes. This summer I committed myself to being a Teaching Assistant for a summer course, completing my internship requirement for my degree program, and another year as the director of fundraising for the Alpha Phi, Omega chapter, House Corporation Board, all while working full time. Go ahead, call me crazy.
I think I find a peace in keeping busy. While sometimes I may be a raging BIATCH, sorry roomie, overcommitting has always been my thing. It’s as if I am not being used to my fullest potential if I’m just sitting on the couch or laying in bed. Don’t get me wrong… I love a good nap, especially on Sunday afternoons.
So, this summer I am also committing to finishing a book I started earlier this year, starting a “retired” TV series that I haven’t had time to watch, and spending more time in the sun with friends. What have you committed to this summer?
