Introducing Firecracker Lacquer {Review & Giveaway}

One of my favorite people in this world is my sister-in-law Arianne, and it was through her that I met one of her best friends Kendahl (who just so happens to be a nail polish addict too) at her birthday party. I adored Kendahl immediately and when she announced that she was working on her own indie nail polish brand I was excited! Low-and-behold Firecracker Lacquer was born!
I was lucky enough to receive two polishes from her first line, the Meet Your Maker collection, and I was not disappointed. She sent me PINK! and Punked and I very quickly fell in love with them both! To tell you just how much I love it, PINK! is actually only about three-quarters of the way full anymore... That's how much I've used it in just the month or so that I've had it-lower than any of my other polishes! Wow! I mean it's pink and white glitter with holographic in it! I love holo anything. Just look at it here in the sun-in these two shots (the blurry photo is so you can see the holographic effect) over Essie Black Licorice.

Here it is over Aly's Dream Polish Pinkberry. Ask me what my two favorite brands are and I'll show you this:

And while I didn't get enough good pictures of Punked-I'm in love with it too! I'm going to wear it again just as soon as my nails grow back out a little (I broke them all camping, boo). It's such a great layered color! I'm just in love with those little hex glitters in the black and how they all layer together.

One of the best things I noticed about the brand is that it dries really fast! I'm so bad about painting my nails and then instantly messing them up again because I don't wait long enough, but I didn't have a problem with these-especially PINK! which dried super fast and was super pretty almost instantly. Seriously, you're missing out if you don't try Firecracker Lacquer-and she just released a new Captivating Creatures line which I plan to shop as soon as I finish writing this post... I really think I desperately need Shark Show, Canary Cavalcade, and Flamingo Fanfair. No joke. Click on them. Look at those colors. That pink though... I die.
Another thing I have to note, Kendahl is a packaging genius. Not only did they ship super fast (seriously she is on top of this), but she threw in some candy (I haven't had Tootie Frooties since I was a kid and you walked down to the gas station for penny candy) and made the entire package an event. It was lovely!

Now for the prize... I know you've been waiting for it! Firecracker Lacquer is offering one lucky winner a $20 gift certificate to the shop. The giveaway is open internationally and will close at 12AM on August 27th, 2014. Entering below agrees to the Terms and Conditions in the Rafflecopter Widget. a Rafflecopter giveaway
