Make Your Own Paper-Crafts Bunny With Movable Arms and Legs

I must have spring fever. The weather is getting nicer almost nice enough to get out on the patio and do a little painting outdoors. Although there are things in the yard that need addressing too I’m talking about water color painting or really any creative painting. I was inspired by a post over at Pottery Barn Kids. One of the blogger projects was a cute bunny I’ll share the information plus link later in the post if you want to take a peek. I decided to use Jordan’s template and create a few myself and creating each one a little different by using watercolor paints. What kid wouldn’t like a little movable bunny?

It doesn’t have to be just for Easter! You can make them one or create one with them just because. All you have to do is pull out a simple water coloring set, a paint brush (any student or kids set will do) and a black permanent felt tip pen! *TIP: do not use the pen until the water color paint is 100% dry! Use the template for the bunny to cut it out. I used 90 lb. paper, any water color paper or mixed media paper can work. And if you don’t paint cut the bunny with pretty card stock. Put your own spin on things that inspire you! You can even have kids use color crayons.

That’s what creativity is about, right?! First one bunny was done!

The project is quick. And then another bunny was ready!

They needed a friend in pink. At least that’s what I thought. The hole is punched on purpose I am going to string them so the arms and legs move.

Here’s a little close up.

Then they all decided to meet some little kids and have jelly beans! Of course they asked me to take them so I’ll be out of town for a few days. When I get back I will publish your comments and reply on all posts.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a wonderful Easter!
