Prison Stripes

It’s not often I wear something I’ve bought immediately after I’ve purchased it and I’m not sure why but that wasn’t the case with this prison stripe maxi skirt I scored recently at Marshall’s. There’s something graphically cool about a good black and white striped garment and I like to either put an ethnic spin on it (wouldn’t this be great with a mustard top and chunky wooden beads?) or pair it up with another graphic piece like my vintage Flora Kung top. I added more color with my tangerine leather clutch from Zara that seems to get its share of prison stripe pairings (see here) and I called it a day. Spring has sprung and I’m all for it! More Prison Stripe love here. {Wearing vintage 80s Flora Kung silk top, Buffalo by David Bitton striped maxi skirt, Zara clutch, Forever21 green bangle, flea market black bangles, etsy ring, vintage Givenchy sunnies}
