T.E.A.M.

Our new Unit of Inquiry has led us to reflect on our roles within a group and how our actions connect to the outcome. The importance of making a plan and assigning responsibilities were found to be quite helpful. Working with our friends has now been even more fun. The group discussions, negotiations and compromises are wonderful! Such principled, communicating, caring, thinkers! *Truly living the learner profile

Lost Puppies is a fun cooperative board game. We have to work together
to bring all the dogs home!

We work as teams to discover all the ways to break
apart a number (6-10)

Emerson created a great board game for his March Math
Project that was a perfect fit for the unit as well!

First in Math is even more fun when we work togehter!

Acting our songs and stories in Mandarin is another
way we are using cooperation!

The characters in our Problem solving notebook showed cooperation too!
Our Trip to the Art Museum
We used our trip to focus on how the artists tell a story with their work. Uncovering the story in each picture was really interesting. Our Explorers were amazing with their deep thinking and thoughtful questions.
