How to Rock a Leopard Print in the Summer

I know what you’re thinking: a leopard print in the summer? Isn’t it more of a fall print? It’s kind of like the whole “florals for spring” conundrum — if it’s one season’s signature print, wearing it in another comes off as awkward and a little out-of-place. Leopard, though, is one of those prints that works year-round — you just have to know how to work it.

The trick to wearing leopard print — whether it be in the fall, spring, winter, or summer — is to wear it as a neutral. The important thing to always keep in mind is the kind of leopard print it is. Really loud, saturated prints tend to come off as a bit gaudy, while a more muted print can look sophisticated and versatile. Leopard is a print that plays well with others: wear this with a demure floral, or with a bright heel for a punched-up look, or with other neutral-hued basics for a go-to look that’s easy to work into your summer (and fall) uniform.

Take a look at some of my favorite ways to incorporate the print into your wardrobe this summer!
