NYFW S/S ’15: Charlotte Ronson Review

There’s a reason Charlotte Ronson is one of the hottest tickets for New York Fashion Week. She’s a celebrity favorite (Gwen Stefani, Gisele Bundchen, and Nicole Richie are among her enormous fan base), is the queen of ready-to-wear looks that are both functional and beautiful, and her vintage-inspired pieces leave me breathless.

Speaking of breathless, that was one way to describe the atmosphere backstage. Even though it was a mob scene of models, hair and makeup gurus, reporters, photographers, and who knows who else, everyone radiated a fierce energy that only seemed to inspire those around them to do the same. Each beauty look was via Temptu, which brought an effortless glow to each model’s face. Hair was left simple — a center part, with the rest combed back behind the ears and down the back. No frills here, and that’s what makes it special. The clothes really do speak for themselves.
