The Coolest Sweatshirts Ever

In the fall, I live in sweatshirts. Well, actually, scratch that — I live in them year-round. They’re one of my favorite things to wear because they’re so effortlessly versatile: pair with skinny leather trousers, and you have a casual look, pair with a miniskirt and pumps, and you have a going-out look that transcends trends. Sweatshirts are, in short, a must-have for every girl no matter what her style or routine.

The trick to the perfect sweatshirt is to opt for a style with unique detailing: think tastefully-made rips, a chic print, or a slogan that’s both witty and appropriate. There’s also the question of fit: a great sweatshirt should be slouchy but not too slouchy, and the sleeves shouldn’t be perfectly tailored to fit your arms. This is meant to be a comfortable piece, so when in doubt, always size up.
