What to Wear: Girl’s Night Out

It might only be Monday (ugh!) but that doesn’t mean we’re not looking forward to Friday. On Fridays, I usually make it a point to go out with my girl friends to recap the week that we had prior: from stresses at work, to bad dates (many bad dates), to roommate troubles, this is our time to just be. Seeing as it’s a Friday and (most) of us don’t have the tedious task of working the next day, we try to go our for either dinner and drinks, or — if we’re feeling fancy — a bit of dancing. There’s nothing like a couple of drinks and a bit of a beat to make you forget your week.

Picking out an outfit for the night is always a bit of a challenge. It’s not quite like picking one out for a date because you don’t have to be sexy in the traditional sense, but you still want to look good: meaning, you can get a bit more fashion-forward with the look.
