Day 3...

~ Greetings and warm welcome to ~

Day 3 . . . Today I have to share that: 1.) I'm going out to lunch with one of my best friends to McAllister's Deli...YUM-O I'm craving a salad and we'll sit in the corner and nurse our sweet teas and gab for an hour or two! FUN :) I love my friends and I think they love me too. 2.) I finished another ornament and here it is....
"JOY" from the 2011 Flora McSample Ornament Series Designed by: Lizzie Kate Stitched on 28 ct. Milk Chocolate linen using DMC

It's another to add to my tree :)
And if you think about the word "JOY" it sure does drum up a lot about this season to me! I get JOY from baking and eating, singing and laughing, being with my family, putting up my decorations, sitting in the living room with only the holiday lights shining, putting on my jammies early because its cold and snowy outside, praying and sharing my faith with my family and with others. I have a lot of JOY. Have you ever noticed that people that have JOY in their lives actually look joyful? They sparkle or shine or have some sort of something going on with their aura and you can actually see the joy? My husband and I were talking about this last night, as we know a person mutually that isn't very happy. They are sort of like Eeyore in Winnie the Pooh. She knows very little joy. She's all about doom, gloom and negativity. She honestly believes everyone is out to get her, stealing her happiness. My husband was commenting that this person wears the negativity on their face and it has actually marked their face with wrinkles and frown lines. You can see, visibly, their unhappiness written all over them. Isn't that sad? In my opinion, JOY is a state of mind and all about how you look and how you approach life. We all have thorns, road blocks and valleys in life. Like the old song says, "I never promised you a rose garden". So anyway, I choose JOY and it is my hope that my face, my aura radiates sunshine, kindness, warmth and fun.
The tradition for today... brings my family 25 days of JOY! And I'm going to share it with you because you all can add it to your 25 days. It is:

We look forward to this special season on ABC Family every year! WHOOP WHOOP!!! Rudolph, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Frosty, The Night Before Christmas.... oh be still my heart! In December, my kids hurry to get their homework and baths done so that they can put on their jammies and we can all enjoy the evening show! Each year since they were little we've done this, popped corn, opened a soda and enjoyed the show together. Family time is the BEST time :)
Do you watch ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas? If not, why don't you consider watching?! Here is the link to the schedule: The Line-up for the 25 Days of Christmas on ABC Family
So.... that does it for Day 3 folks :) I bet you can't guess what tomorrow's ornament is! Ha ha :)
Until tomorrow... I'll be keeping my hands to work and heart to God just like always! Join me!
