A Writer’s World Blog Tour
Sara and I met via a ACFW forum and realized we had been working together via Litfuse as well (such a small world)! She’s currently working on an crazy exciting novel that is literally going to knock your socks off! I can’t wait for it to get published. She was the winner of the First Impression contest, a finalist in the Genesis contest, and has won or placed in numerous other contests around the web (this girl is seriously talented let me tell you!) She lives in Utah with her awesome husband and two incredibly adorable girls.
For this tour, I was given four questions to answer. I will also introducing two other fabulous writers who will also be answering these questions on their blogs next week!
What are you working on?
Currently working on book one in what I hope will become a trilogy. There isn’t a title yet (hoping to get readers help on that soon-be on the lookout for that if you have a talent for naming things) but here’s a back cover blurb of sorts:

How does your work differ from others in its genre?
I love how Ted Dekker, in all his weirdness, writes stories with double meanings. Within my stories I hope to put metaphors and pictures of Christian’s daily struggles and walk. I want to write powerful stories that Christian or non-Christians would enjoy reading. Because of this the Christian “message” won’t be blatantly out there, but if you look for it, it will be there.
Why do you write what you do?
I write because I have to. YA just happens to be what I love. I wouldn’t say that it’s that much different from adult fiction except that they tend to be less graphic. I love writing for young adults as their minds tend to be more open to the magic of the story.
How does your writing process work?
First draft is pretty ugly. I get it out there out of my head. Then I go back and plot. And I rewrite and rewrite until I get it right. Also, I drink copious of coffee.
