The Wednesday Showcase

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!! I hope your week is going well :)
I need to start with an apology. For those of you who are looking for the next pant drafting post, you know that I did not get it posted yesterday and I do apologize. I'm feeling a little under the weather. I am not sick, just very tired. I ended up laying down yesterday afternoon and I was in bed by 8 last night. So the post is coming, please hang tight. I think I've just had a lot on my plate lately and my body is telling me to slow down a bit.
Now on to the day at hand. It's been a while since I've done a Wednesday Showcase post. As you know, I decided to continue the Me Made Monday posts when Marina of Frabjous Couture felt she could no longer do them. There have been a few who have linked up and I am so happy that they have. We need to scream to the world that we are making our wardrobes!!! I think that the more we scream, the more there will be to join us, at least I hope so. This is truly an area where the more is truly the merrier. So today I thought I would showcase two ladies who have linked up to Me Made Mondays.
Up first is Sandra of http://sewiststitch.blogspot.co.nz/ She is from New Zealand and here's a little about her,

"Kia ora! I am a self-taught sewing enthusiast who loves to sew for my own pleasure in my spare time. I also like to pick up my knitting needles every now and then. I love fabric and quite possibly spend just as much time in the fabric store than I do sewing!"

When it comes to spending time in the fabric store, I think we can all relate to that!
Sandra loves to support Indie pattern companies. I absolutely love this piece and I think it looks great with the tights.
It's the Keilo Wrap Dress from Named Clothing and you can find it here.
Sandra has a great sense of style and enjoys doing a little something unexpected.
Like this fabulous lining!!
Take a look at this sensational dress!
What a great design. She said that this was her Jackie O dress. I think Jackie would be quite honored!
There's so much more on her blog, so be sure to pay Sandra a visit.
Now, meet Angela. She lives in Hamburg, Germany. She says that she is a sewing enthusiast and fabric addict, and "I own more patterns than I will ever be able to sew." Oh my, don't we all!!!! You can find her blog here, http://sewingdreamsblog.wordpress.com/
Angela truly has an eye for detail and her garments echo this like this great sweatshirt. This is truly a sweatshirt with style.
In my book, there is nothing better than a well made shirt.
I just had to include this picture as this is one perfect shirt!!!
Angela made these boxes all on her serger. You can find the post here if you would like to give it a try. What great presents these would be.
She's also taken the plunge into doing a little lingerie sewing.
Such pretty camisoles. She used this pattern to make these.
Thank you to both Sandra and Angela for joining in on the Me Made Monday posts. Be sure to check out their blogs as there is so much more there than I have shared and I know you will enjoy getting to know both of these very talented ladies.
Have a great rest of your week!
Rhonda
