Happiness on a Kitchen Windowsill

When I lived in my little cottage in Idaho there was no window over the kitchen sink. Although I loved that little cottage I always longed for a window I could gaze out of while cleaning up the dishes or washing veggies. When we found our house in Texas I was so excited to see that there was a big window over the sink so I could watch the birds and the squirrels enjoy the big old pecan tree just outside.
The other thing I love about this window is that there is a little sill where I can display little things that make me happy. Things that make me smile. A pretty little jelly jar. Some red cherry tomatoes.

A miniature stove that was a Hallmark Keepsake Christmas ornament one year.

My two miniature African Violets. One of which is blooming right now.

A little red china bird that I found several years ago while antiquing.

My miniature dollhouse hutch and a mini red chair with tiny tea towels on the seat.
Little things that make me happy and make me smile. Wishing you a day filled with happiness and smiles!
