Hang on to your wallets, girls! IT Cosmetics has another 5-piece set coming to QVC, and I think it might be the best yet. The IT Cosmetics It's All About You! Kit combines 4 fan favorites, along with a new addition to the CC line to complete a complexion, from base to brows. Included in the set is:
- Celebration Foundation: My holy grail in powder foundations. The smooth texture doesn't cling to my dry patches, or create a grease pool in my t-zone. While it oxidizes slightly on me, and developes a natural dewy finish throughout the day, it looks like second skin when worn, and manages to stay put throughout the day. Wear it wet for a fuller coverage or dry to even your complexion out completely.
- Bye Bye Under Eye Waterproof Concealer: While I've raved about the original formula, a new longer-lasting version is included in this set. It promises all day wear, but I find it's lasting power is similar to the original formula - which was all day to begin with! The primary difference I find between the two is the texture. A few readers have voiced concerns over how thick and crease-prone the original formula was if not warmed between your fingers before application. The waterproof formula fixes that with a texture that's a little thinner, more emollient, and easier to blend.
- Dual Ended Complexion Perfection Brush: On one end, there's a large dense, yet fluffy buffing brush - perfect for buffing powder foundation. On the other end, there's a smaller version perfect for blending product more precisely, making it perfect for blending or setting liquid concealer.
- Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil: This automatic brow pencil comes complete with a brow brush on the other end. The product itself is a "universal" cool brown-taupe that can be applied softly for a light application, and more heavily for deeper brow shades. The shape of the products makes it great for both filling brows, as well as creating the look of individual hairs, making this very versatile depending on your brow needs. While the product has a slightly waxy textures to lock brows into place all day, the shade might leave those with blonde or red-tinted brows wanting a little more.
- CC Radiance Palette (NEW!): This little beauty is the new addition to the CC line and contains a brightening setting powder, matte peach blush, and matte bronzer. All shades are ultra-smooth, intensely pigmented, and darn near universally flattering. The matte finish doesn't cling to dry patches - rather it smooths out any texture inconsistencies. The brightening powder is great for all over use, as well as in the under eye area to set concealer. Both the blush and bronzer can be built to be quite pigmented, making this a great face powder palette for a wide variety of skin tones.
