The Happiest Place on Earth

My first visit!

As soon as I heard the opening notes of ‘Once Upon a Dream’, I couldn’t contain my excitement any longer. My first time at Disneyland was just as special as I had imagined as a child, even at 22 the magic hadn’t faded – I had the goofiest grin on my face that I couldn’t shake as we made our way down Main Street. I think my exact words to Miguel were “oh my god. I don’t know what to do” …x10.

I’m sure by now the majority of you have already had your first time at Disneyland, right? From the music to the big smiles on everybody’s faces (how nice are the staff?!), I’m pretty sure their tagline is accurate. Take me back!

We went on almost every ride at the park, taking every little detail in. I took a crazy amount of pictures and declared that I would happily live at Disneyland, humming heigh-ho as I made my way to work at the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour. Mary Poppins and Minnie Mouse wouldn’t make for bad neighbours, I reckon.

Now I’m determined to visit all the Disneyland/worlds in existence. I’m such a big kid! x
