It’s been a long time since I’ve worn a playsuit. Since starting an office job over a year and a half ago I piled on around a stone, and haven’t necessarily been feeling very body confident – going up a dress size will do that. I think I’ll reserve my thoughts and feelings on that for another post though!
Bearing the above in mind, I thought playsuits were out of the question, reserved for size 10 and below. But when I spotted this checked number on my daily New In trawl of ASOS, I gave it a shot anyway…
Lo and behold, it’s not as bad as I thought! I mean, passers by were most definitely having a good look but I think that’s probably due to my pale legs blinding them rather than anything else…
I think it’s important to take a few risks when it comes to getting dressed. I know it sounds silly to say wearing a playsuit is risky in any way, but pushing yourself out of your comfort zone every now and then definitely pays off! Maybe next time I’ll even try a jumpsuit ; )
P.S – I know it looks like I glued my hand to my hat, but it was far too windy to let go! I’ve ran after one too many hats to let it happen again…
