The Photo

No, not the big-eared elephant, the New York neighbourhood! We dropped by last year in the hope of shooting some snaps in this iconic spot, but lo and behold, Mr Andrew Garfield was there with a zillion big lorries in tow shooting his Spiderman film. Dude! I wanted to take pictures! So we tried again this year, and got the snap we were after (spot the Empire State Building in the middle?)

Based on my limited knowledge from the two visits, I’d say this area is certainly an up-and-comer. There are restaurants and shops popping up all over the place. We gorged on Shake Shack before taking these pictures, and after led on the grass at Brooklyn Heights Promenade, overlooking the Manhattan skyline across the East River.

I’d totally planned to shoot absolutely everything I ate to compile a little guide of New York eats, but the eating part totally got in the way and more often than not I totally forgot. Hey! I like food! I’ll check through my snaps and see what I’ve got as I may still be able to put something together!
