Put a ring on it

Happy friday! Here is a bit of sugary sweetness to start the weekend off on the right note! A few weeks ago, me and my pals Olivia, Kristabel, Lucy and Dunya met with jewellery designer Clarice Price Thomas, who had set us up on a bit of a unique (outside of Christmas) present exchange. We were all given a name at random, and then asked to pick a ring that suited the person we received (I’ve definitely made that sound more complicated than it was..). The best place to exchange our pretty gifts? An ice cream parlour, of course!

So, as we chowed down on sundaes and ice cream cones, we passed over our pressies to reveal how well we knew each other! I picked out an almost art deco style silver ring for Lucy, whilst I unwrapped a dainty gold cog ring, picked out by Olivia. We learned how Clarice uses her father’s watch and clock making equipment to create the pieces – a wonderful nod to his craft.
