Sundown

Sandy Toes

The last little bit of sunshine on the blog for now! I hope you’ve enjoyed these warm snaps from Soma Bay – I had such a wonderful time discovering it’s beauty. Our last evening was spent at the famed Thalasso spa, followed by rushing back to catch the sunset on the beach.

I had a small amount of trepidation about travelling to Egypt, but after a little research I realised any fear was unfounded. Despite the troubles that they have had in previous years, it’s safe to visit resorts like Soma Bay without a worry. This little slice of Egypt is so secluded, but still full of all the things you might want to do on a sun holiday, and it’s growing.

Best bit about the trip? Snorkelling, for sure. The worst might have to be my several-dozen mosquito bites – clearly I’m not used to travelling to warm countries – I never learn! But of course, it’s easy to forget about your itchy legs when you’re watching the sun set behind the mountains.

Until next time, Egypt! x
