Versace x H&M

Dress (worn as jacket)- Versace for H&M, gold torque necklace- H&M, long sleeved top- Zara, cropped trousers- Topshop, patent pointed court shoes- DuneIts finally hit stores; pieces from Versaces collaboration with H&M have made the transition from untouchable-wishlist items, to very-much-in-reach (but blink & its gone) wardrobe must-haves. Im going to be honest though, the collection isnt really in-keeping with my usual style... its bold in a trash-tastic kind of way. I did, however, want to get my mitts on some menswear and leather pieces, but lo-and-behold, my local only stocked womenswear... it was naive of me to opt for a smaller store (assuming thered be fewer nutters shoppers to contend with), and expect that theyd stock the whole collection. Regardless, I got in and grabbed everything with a "rainy day" mentality- just in case-, thinking something could surprise me & work better with my style than expected... & its a good thing I did. I got a few things, including this dress- worn as a jacket. I dont think Ill ever wear it as a dress, to be honest, but its nice to have the option, right? No doubt youll see the other purchases filter into future outfit-posts, but I might save those for Spring...If you grabbed any pieces, share & share-alike; Im looking forward to seeing how different people sport the same items.PS.
