My Baby Girl’s Turning Two Soon! (O B S E S S I V I S I O N)

Parker’s second year marked the beginning of her transformation into a lady.

We waited anxiously for her to walk this year. She decided to do so at 18 months, but I could see that she found solace in studying objects at ground level for long periods of time (she has many of my introverted qualities). Never did we anticipate how many biig emotions would come from such a tiny body. When people say that boys are easier to raise, I think they lose sight of the fact that women just have a knack for releasing their emotions…letting them go. I love to watch this little lady grow and explore, yet, still depend on me. She still asks to be breastfed before bedtime, sing and cuddle. Even though I know some of these needs will fade, the mother daughter bond is something I will never take for granted. I have so much to share with her.
