Welcome back!

As you may have noticed, the blog has been having some major technical difficulties over the past few days. My host Typepad was undergoing a major DDOS attack that had all the Typepad blogs down sporadically over the past week and then completely down for 2 days. Needless to say, I've been very antsy to get back to my blog and share with you all again. Thanks for your patience. I am hoping that the problem has been resolved and that my blog will be remaining up now.

I wanted to thank you guys for taking the time to fill out last week's survey to help me get a better understanding of the things you guys love to see. I wanted to share some of the results with you all. It seems quite a few of you miss Marshmallow Mondays so I will be working hard to bring that feature back more frequently as I've really been missing it too. I have the cutest doggy in the world (of course I'm biased) but I would love to show her off just a bit more.

Another thing that a lot of you asked for more of were videos. I was SO excited to hear this as I've been really wanting to shoot more video. This year will bring some beautiful weddings and I can't wait to start videoing them. There's also countless fun events coming up that I am really excited to video. Something else I am ready to do more often are youtube videos. I have shared them occasionally with you all, but I would love get back into more video tutorials.

Which leads me to the favorite blog posts currently. Photography tutorials and outfit posts. I honestly had no idea what the answers would be for this question. And surprisingly, very few answers were DIYs or recipes. The majority wanted more posts on photography and more outfits. I will say that since I am no fashionista, outfit posts will probably still be limited to once or twice a week at the most, but I really appreciate the encouragement to keep doing them. It's something that always makes me extremely self conscious and knowing you guys enjoy them is really helpful. Thanks for all your sweet comments everyone.

What did the majority not like? Well there were a few of you that don't love the outfit posts, some DIYs, but the majority of dislikes were from recipes. I gotta say, that is a load of my shoulders. I am NOT a cook. I really am not skilled in any way shape or form in the kitchen and knowing that you guys don't really care to see recipes as much makes me feel so much better. Of course if there are recipes that I create and absolutely love, I will share them. But I don't feel like I need to figure out something to make in order to share it with you guys.

So all in all, the consensus was more pictures, more photography and more pretty things. I am really excited to move forward in this direction and eliminate some posts that just weren't fitting in with my life or my blog anymore. I am so excited to really hone in on photography more and share peeks into my everyday life. Thanks so much guys!
