Engaged & Inspired

Well, hello there. It’s been quite a while since my last post, and honestly I wasn’t quite sure if I was going to continue blogging at all. I was feeling uninspired, and between switching career paths, traveling to Europe and the general craziness of the holidays, I just didn’t make any time for this little ol’ blog.

But now I’m back. I got engaged to the love of my life about 6 weeks ago (November 29th to be exact) and found myself incredibly inspired and excited to start planning our big day. I know this makes me a sappy cheeseball… you’ll just have to bear with me. I think it’s safe to say I have reignited my Pinterest addiction, and I’m also planning to use this blog to collect and share my inspiration, plans and thoughts along the way. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not turning this space into a giant mess of wedding mumbo jumbo, but I’d like it to be about more than just what I wear to work everyday. In addition to the inevitable wedding inspiration, I’m planning to share more posts about my travels, home decor, a few favorite recipes, happenings around the Bay Area, and (of course) my evolving style inspiration. I have a pretty exciting year ahead and I look forward to sharing the ride with you!

Now that we got all that out of the way… the photos above are from the weekend we got engaged. The mister popped the question while we were walking through Wilder Ranch State Park and then surprised me with a weekend in Big Sur. Needless to say, we had the most amazing time.
