Re-create: Rebecca Minkoff Fall 2014

I know summer's just around the corner, so why re-create a fall look now? Uhm... because this Rebecca Minkoff look is so simple yet absolutely perfect?

For the official look, Sarah Lucero used Stila products namely: the Stila Stay All Day Foundation, Baked Cheek Duo in Pink Glow, In the Light Palette, Major Major Lash Mascara, Stay All Day Brow Color and Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Amore.

I don't have any of those (haha) so I browsed through my stuff and hoped for the best.

I used: Jouer Matte Moisture Tint as a base, Tony Moly Prestige Carat Duo to conceal, a light brown eyeshadow from the Stila Merry and Bright Palette, Benefit They're Real Mascara, NARS Bellisima for my brows, MAC Strada to contour, Wet N Wild Cherrybomb and MAC Viva Glam III mixed together as the lip color.

Step by step:
  1. After cleansing my face, I applied my daily moisturizer and sunblock. I then used the Maybelline Baby Pore Eraser on my t-zone to blur out pores and imperfections.
  2. The models all have very clear, flawless skin, so I used the Jouer Matte Moisture Tint as a base; then applied Tony Moly Prestige Carat Duo Concealer on the blemishes.
  3. For this look, I opted to use NARS Bellisima instead of my usual MAC Espresso because the former is darker and less brown. Choose a brow color shade darker than you usually use for a perfect, strong brow look. I applied a light brown eyeshadow on my lid to deepen up my crease, then liiiightly applied Benefit They're Real Mascara just on my upper lashes.
  4. For the cheeks, Sarah Lucero wanted "contoured cheeks and a pop of iridescent pink" - I didn't exactly see the pink that she was referring to, so I skipped the blush and applied MAC Strada to contour heavily. Lastly, I applied Wet n Wild Cherrybomb which I actually found to be a little too "light" - it wasn't exactly the bold lips that I wanted, so I layered MAC Viva Glam III on top of it.
So, how did I fare with this look? :)
