Get The Look: We Love This Blogger’s Autumnal Layering

We all know layering is the last lesson in transitional dressing, but there’s always one or two key pieces that go the extra mile. You know, the ones that skip seasons altogether and that you can wear all year round with a multitude of looks.

The latest outfit post on Jessica Galfo’s style blog Dressed by Jess is the perfect example of such items, in which she styles the hell out of her oxblood ankle boots and black leather gilet to create a great trans-seasonal outfit that we’re itching to recreate.

Keeping the look season-appropriate in an above-the-knee Aztec print pencil skirt, she added a crisp white shirt under her waterfall sleeveless jacket for structure and added polish.

We love the addition of her tomato red cross-body bag, which adds a surge of bright colour to the otherwise autumnal shades. Stacking multiple bracelets and a chic rose gold watch, a statement pair of sunnies and a natural blow dry create a stylish finish to this easy everyday look.

Perfect for these mid-season days, no?
