Best Dressed This Week: 22/08/14

What a week for drop dead gorgeous designer dresses! With the red carpet beauties at the LA premiere of Sin City: A Dame To Kill For making up almost half of our list, we seriously struggled to narrow it down to just 10 fab looks to swoon over this week.

Taking the lead in a fabulous royal blue Zac Posen pencil dress, Jessica Alba ensured all eyes were on her at the promo, styling her figure-hugging frock with cool metallic accessories and voluminous locks, while her co-star, Jaime King, flashed serious leg in a gold-trimmed asymmetric Versace gown, paired with plenty of attitude and a sleek top knot.

Not one to be outdone, Eva Green vamped up the event with a deep berry lip and side swept dark locks, opting for all-out glamour in an emerald green embellished Elie Saab couture gown, as Jamie Chung completed the stylish set with a cut-out velvet floor length dress by Pamella, Pamella Roland.

With our favourite well dressed teen Chloe Moretz securing her first hat trick on this week’s round up (nailing looks from Miu Miu, Proenza Schouler and Dolce & Gabbana), we’re also giving special mention to Alexa Chung‘s Burberry Prorsum look worn to pal Nick Grimshaw’s birthday party. With a cosy Charlotte Simone faux fur stole draped elegantly over one shoulder of her hand painted dress, this has to be the most sartorially savvy way to beat the current evening chill.
