Top 5 Trends From LFW: What We’ll Be Wearing Next Spring

We don’t know about you, but after a week of commercially viable clothes and sports luxe overload over in the Big Apple, London Fashion Week – with all its innovative quirks and humour-fuelled shows – always feels like a breath of fresh air. And what cheered us up even more this spring/summer 2015 season was the fact that the weather held up its end of the bargain, too: five days of mild temps and no rain was more than we could have hoped for, especially after the climate disasters that were the last two LFWs.

As for the runways? Well, we can tell you there was certainly no shortage of glamour (Tom Ford), glitter (Ashish) and flashes of pure genius (Mary Katrantzou). And while many of the trends we saw back in New York were relevant on the London catwalks, too, we spotted a few new themes emerging that are worth taking note of and digesting before plunging into Milan Fashion Week.
