Marc by Marc Jacobs floral corset dress

Hi everyone ! As most of you know, in these days I am on holidays on the Amalfi coast, and as it happens all the time, I have too many clothes with me, LOL. I can't really resist to summer dresses. A corset dress can make you feel like a princess, especially if it features a delicate flower print in pastel colors, just like this one from Marc by Marc Jacobs. I love pieces of clothing like this one, and I don't care whether my closet is about to burst because I have more dresses than places to go to sport them, cute dresses are my weakness !. A couple of statement pieces, like my cat eye mirrored sunglasses from Dsquared2 and my pink Sodini necklace, and I am ready to go...where, you ask ? Well, when I am dresses the way I like, I obviously feel ready to go everywhere ! ;)
Ciao a tutti ! In questo periodo sono in vacanza sulla Costiera Amalfitana e, come capita ogni volta, ho portato troppi vestiti. Non riesco proprio a resistere agli abiti estivi. Un abito con corsetto, ad esempio, può farti sentire come una principessa, specialmente se ha una stampa delicata con fiori pastello, come questo Marc by Marc Jacobs. Io adoro vestirmi così, e non mi importa se il mio guardaroba sta per scoppiare perché ho più vestiti che posti dove sfoggiarli !. Un paio di accessori ad hoc, come gli occhiali da sole cat eye Dsquared2, a specchio, e la mia collana rosa Sodini, e sono pronta...per andare dove, direte ? Quando mi vesto come piace a me, mi sento pronta ad andare ovunque, ovvio ! ;-)

I love the design of this cute dress, with a peplum and a circle skirt. It's the kind of design that flatters girls with a tiny waistline and small bust, just like me. The lenght is perfect, not too short, and the colors are just great together - we have pink, lilac and apple green. The fabric is cotton and it's pretty similar to denim, a bit thick and rigid. I can tell you that this is one of my favorite dresses I bought this year.
Adoro il taglio di questo abitino, con il peplum ed una gonna a ruota. E' il tipo di taglio che valorizza le ragazze con vita stretta e busto piccolo, come me. La lunghezza è perfetta, non troppo corta, ed i colori sono molto belli insieme - abbiamo rosa, lilla e verde mela. La stoffa è un cotone pesantino, simile al denim, un po' spesso e rigido. Posso affermare con certezza che si tratta di uno dei miei abiti preferiti tra quelli comprati quest'anno.

My usual readers know I have been wearing this beautiful pink Sodini bijoux necklace in different outfits. I love it, and with a bit of tan and this dress it is just...wow !. I had a matching lipstick and Chanel nailpolish #615, sweet lilac, on my nails. Bag of choice was my Miu Miu lookalike from Zara, in blue and mint, that you can see in the pic below together with my arm party.
I miei lettori abituali sapranno che ho indossato questa bellissima collana rosa Sodini bijoux in diversi miei look, e con un po' di abbronzatura e questo abito per me è...wow ! Ho usato un rossetto che si accordasse come tonalità e sulle unghie lo smalto n. 615 Chanel, sweet lilac. La borse prescelta è stata la mia "sosia" Miu Miu di Zara, in blu e menta, che potete vedere nella foto sotto insieme ai miei bijoux.

A princess dress requires princess shoes, and these shining fuchsia slingback pumps from Le Silla are the right pair to wear to get noticed and being elegant at the same time !. I love dresses with corsets also because I feel like if they make me stand up straight in a better way...I can't explain myself maybe, but I have the tendency to relax my back too much and my posture doesn't feels right. Dresses with tight corset feel like improving my posture - at least, this is my excuse to get aother one, in case hubby asks, LOL. What do you think about corset dresses, do you have one too ?. Un abito da principessina richiede scarpe da principessa, e queste scintillanti scarpe fucsia Le Silla sono il paio giusto per farsi notare con eleganza !. Mi piacciono gli abiti con bustier incorporato perché mi sento come se mi facessero stare più "dritta"...spero di riuscire a spiegarmi, ma ho la tendenza a rilassare troppo la schiena e spesso mi accorgo di avere una postura scorretta. Gli abiti con la parte superiore a corsetto, un po' stretta, mi aiutano a migliorare la postura - almeno, questa è la scusa per comprarne un altro, in caso mio marito chieda, LOL. Cosa pensate degli abiti con corsetto, ne avete uno anche voi ?. Grazie per le vostre visite e per i commenti, cercherò di essere presente il più possibile, compatibilmente con il mio bisogno di godermi un po' di tempo libero ;).
