Why a short Christmas wishlist ?

This is my perfect time to write a letter to Santa Claus. I know that I have been a good girl, and 2014 wasn't the happiest year of my life, so I feel I deserve something special, LOL. This Christmas wishlist isn't as long as my wishlists from the past years, in spite of me being a fashionista and also, too often, a fashion victim. I am surely not a saver, and I like to have my money where I can see it - in my closet; I am also an impulsive buyer, I don't think twice before getting something I like, especially if it's from low cost stores. That is also why sometimes I think I could have bought less items and chosen in a wiser way, items that are classic and timeless pieces, like the one that I am going to show you now.

Questo è il momento perfetto per scrivere una letterina a Babbo Natale. So di essere stata una brava ragazza, ed il 2014 è stato anche un anno abbastanza difficile per me sotto diversi aspetti, così mi sento di meritare qualcosa di speciale, LOL. La mia wishlist natalizia non è tanto lunga, come le wish list natalizie degli anni passati, nonostante io sia una fashionista e, troppo spesso, anche una fashion victim. Non sono di certo una persona che risparmia, mi piace avere i miei soldi dove li possa vedere, ovvero nell'armadio, e compro per impulso, spesso senza pensarci troppo, soprattutto se si tratta di articoli low cost. Proprio per questo, a volte penso che avrei potuto fare scelte diverse, più sagge, investendo in pezzi classici e senza tempo, come quello che sto per mostrarvi.

Dear Santa, this is all I need !

Yes, Dear Santa, you do not need to bring me so many packages, all I need is a Chanel 2.55 classic flap bag in quilted leather, possibly with golden hardware. I am a simple girl, after all, and I need a Chanel in my life !. I think the large size will be perfect, and if you really want to bring something else to make me smile, you can go with Guerlain, one of my favorite makeup brands...I have seen their new A night at the Opera 2014 collection and I am especially intrigued by the beautiful Petrouchka palette for eyes and cheek, Rouge Parade 820 lipstick, such a lumimous shade of red, and the Meteorites illuminating pearls. You can't go wrong with this collection, dear Santa, and do not think I betrayed Chanel makeup, I didn't put it in my wishlist only because I already bought something from their Christmas collection !. To help me with my delicate eyes, dear Santa Claus, would you also get me Sisley's Masque contour des yeux ? I have tried a few samples of this rich, soothing balm and I am so impressed by it. Sisley is a skincare luxury brand that is not cheap but it makes some wonderful products. That's all...I haven't been exaggerated this year, right ?.

Caro Babbo Natale, questo è tutto !

Sì, caro Babbo Natale, non c'è bisogno di riempirmi di pacchetti, tutto ciò di cui ho bisogno è una borsa Chanel 2.55 classica in pelle matelassé, possibilmente con hardware dorato. Sono una ragazza semplice, dopotutto, ho solo bisogno di una Chanel nella mia vita ! Credo che la misura grande andrà bene, e se proprio vuoi portarmi qualcos'altro, puoi benissimo scegliere Guerlain, uno dei miei brand makeup preferiti...ho visto la nuova collezione A night at the Opera 2014 e sono specialmente attratta dalla bellissima palette Petrouchka per gli occhi e le guance, il rossetto Rouge Parade 820, un rosso molto luminoso, e le perle illuminanti Meteorites. Non puoi sbagliare con questa collezione, caro Babbo, e non pensare che io voglia tradire il trucco Chanel, non l'ho inserito in wishlist solo perché ho già comprato diverse cose dalla collezione natalizia del brand !. Per aiutarmi con i miei occhi delicati, infine, carissimo Babbo Natale, puoi portarmi la maschera Sisley contorno occhi ? Dopo avere provato dei campioni di questo balsamo ricco e lenitivo, ne sono molto entusiasta. Sisley è un brand di lusso per quanto riguarda la cura della pelle, non economico ma fa dei prodotti eccezionali. Questo è tutto...non sono stata esagerata quest'anno, vero ?.
