Andrea® Eye Q's Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover Pads

I was out on a work trip and then I ran out of makeup remover. I usually have or wear my Etude House Drawing Show Creamy Liner which is really hard to remove, even with my Etude House Lip & Eye Makeup Remover Review nor the Mascara remover. Etude House Eyeliners are pretty strong and when it says waterproof, it really is waterproof!

And so, I had a dilemma ... I couldn't find an Etude House store nearby. Do I just buy a different brand I dunno of or I'd just wait 'til I get back home; and I'd just wash my face with my regular face wash that's also a BB cream remover (and would work on makeup)? Well, there's a Beauty Bar store and I though, hmmm, maybe I can find an equally good product ... hopefully something that will not damage my skin. I have sensitive skin so I only use very limited makeup and skincare brands. Thankfully, I found this Andrea® Eye Q's Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover Pads. I was skeptical at first though ...

Me and My not-so-perfect removal of makeup hahah!
(I still have a few spots left)
Great product!
Andrea® Eye Q's Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover Pads
There were other types but I chose this "moisturizing" one since it's the least greasy. I think that's really the best factor that sold this product to me hehe. After liquid type removers, I thought this one would work. Well - I ain't a beauty expert nor guru so I dunno all types haha. I just try 'em and review 'em ... sometimes I read other good stuffs and learn from those but mostly, I don't pay much attention. LOL. Anyway ... for this product, I have put it to the test ...

The Andrea® Eye Q's Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover Pads promises to gently and effectively remove eye makeup. Formulated with natural extracts, these moisturizing pads soothe and condition the skin - which is really what I need since I mostly neglect my skin now *sobs*. The eye area needs utmost care and adding such moisturizing gives it the break it needs!

It comes in three (3) variants at Beauty Bar for Andrea Makeup Remover Pads - Andrea EyeQ's Ultra Quick Pads; Andrea EyeQ's Oil-Free Pads; and Andrea EyeQ's Moisturizing Pads and all are equally enticing but again, I preferred this "moisturizing" set. Each of them has 65 pads in it anyway ... and I really need the moisturizing effect more than anything else.

This set is meant to condition the eye area while gently removing makeup as described. I must say, I agree! After using it for quite some time now, I feel that it really soothes my skin and doesn't leave it dry nor oily. It's just right. It doesn't have a strong scent as well so I guess, it's pretty much effective.

The product boasts of being the World's Best Selling Eye Makeup Remover. I believe there's truth to that. I, myself, am quite amazed about the results. No offense to Etude House. LOL! I mean, yeah I do love their makeup remover but I consume a lot of amount (since I use waterproof eye liner) hence emptying it faster. Although Etude costs lower, I consume a lot hehe.

Each pack is carefully sealed with a foil cover, preserving its richness and active ingredients. The remover pads are soft and creamy, I must say. It smells medicated but it's not really a strong scent so it doesn't bother me. And based on what I read on other beauty blogs, this is one thing to consider for non-allergenic products - no scent. Maybe not all but most, right? Hehe.

Is it really non-greasy? Yes! I tried to rub the pads on my fingers and it doesn't squeeze out much liquid. That actually made a bit worried that it might not work then. LOL. Because it doesn't seem to have the "remover" aspect and it just appears as a regular cotton pad. But well, I tried and tested it - hard test on my Etude House Cream Gel Liner huh? It's the absolute test!

To use, simply sweep over closed lid until all traces of makeup are removed. Pretty easy right? Hehe. Of course this photo needed me to keep my eyes opened for now hehe. You can see how thick my eyelid liner looks from here - achieving my KPOP / Korean look hehe. And it's a cream gel type! Harharhar~ Will it work?

With a few dabs and gentle sweeps on my eyelid, the cream liner was miraculously removed! Ah-maz-ing! I only used one (1) pad on one eyelid - so that's two (2) pads average will be used per removal session. I guess you'll only need one if you don't have liners as thick as this hehe. Each pad, I used them on each side to remove all traces of makeup.

My eyeliner was really long, yes; but the remover pad seem to be much stronger! Woot! See how my makeup really comes off? Really amazing results! I love how efficient it is!

One more thing I love about this product is it doesn't sting my eyes. It's very safe and doesn't hurt. I think the formula is very efficient and mild at the same time. I dunno - maybe I'm just too careful too and not accidentally dabbing them on my eyes. So far, I've never felt it sting so it must be good and gentle! ^_^

After using it, it leaves my skin still soft and supple to touch. I normally would just wash my face again to remove extra remnants of the makeup. But overall, it's been pretty effective! Results guaranteed! For only P245 (like Php3.75 per pad; or $0.09 USD); it's a product I can say, is a must-have for people who uses makeup. Good for daily use? Yes!
CHAI'S VERDICT: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (5 Stars!!!)

Would I recommend this product? Of course! It's too good of a product to pass out! It costs more than my regular Etude House removers though but I can say it works best! Go try it!
