During my little weekend in Battersea, with the two musketeers that are Miss Cohen and Miss Rocks- we spent a very bright Sunday morning exploring the beautiful area that Jaz calls home. After a stack of Nutella and banana on toast, bottomless sugar filled Earl Grey and a trying on session to rival no other we left her humble abode and set out.

Our first stop came in the shape of Battersea Flower Station- a place which had me at the blooming great pun name (see what I did there? Flowers? Blooming? No...) Situated in a cosy corner of Battersea high street and consisting of a beautiful walkway showered with bunting, a rainbow of floral, a duck egg blue craft shed (with an animal corner) and a beautiful shop filled with independent artists and crafty folk- it was my idea of the perfect botanic city hideaway.

Following a flowery frolicking we headed along the street, dipping in and out of some of the infamous charity shops I've read about time and time again- and even picking up a couple of bargains in the shape of a Ron Burgundy meets Alex Turner turtle neck and perfect grey scarf- all for under £5!

We wrapped up the weekend with a pit stop lunch at cosy Italian delicatessen, Il Molino. Now, anywhere that does a good cup of tea, any kind of cake and or/cookie and some kind of panini shaped lunch (all the better if pasta is on offer too) is in my good books- and this glorious eatery got top marks (it even had a trendy decor- faabulous). With tea served in mugs that could rival even the cutest of those in your cupboards, and the tastiest cookies cuddled in jars, it was lucky I had a train home to catch...
and here's what I wore...
