Driving in your car, I wanna be wherever you are

Now, if there's one way to welcome you into a new country- it's having a car like this parked outside your home for the week. Not only is it pink, my favourite car in the whole world and in sight from our kitchen window (washing up has never been so fun)- but it makes for the perfect make believe outfit shots (yes, this is my car, and yes it will match my future winter coat)- even if I couldn't bring it back with me.

Obviously being on holiday (and before I even developed a hint of colour) I decided to embrace my inner (or outer) tourist, and rock up to dinner adorned with palm leaves and shoes only appropriate for a dimly lit '70s (or '80s for that matter) disco. Saying that, I think this dress has been one of my favourite buys this summer- and was the easiest thing to throw on; requiring minimal styling- and there's nothing more fun than matching your surroundings, right?

Also, before I forget, I wanted to say a huge thank you to everybody who has voted me in the shortlist for 'Best Established Fashion Blog' in the Cosmopolitan blog awards this year. I'm still hugely surprised to make it again this year, and it means more than you could ever imagine ('people read these rambles?' I hear you cry!) that people still come back to my little corner. There's some amazing girls in the shortlist this year (as there is every year), so I massively recommend you take a wee peek here- and vote for whoever you feel deserves the title, I know there's some incredible competition and it only takes a small second!
