Breeze blows leaves of a musty-coloured yellow

(Top: Mango @ ASOS, Trousers: ASOS, Bag: C/O Nica, Shoes: Charlotte Olympia)
Although I'm still deliberating as to how much of a golfer-come-Rupert the bear wannabe I look in this outfit, I'm happy to say a combination of check trousers and a roll neck have fast become one of my favourite Autumn outfits, practical and 'trendy'? I'll take that. I haven't worn a turtle neck since I was about 5, namely because my weekend uniform at that age seemed to be a kilt and jumper- but looking back, I'm sure my mum was on to a winner (sorry if I ever complained mum)- and I even like to think I'm rolling with the Audrey-funny-face look (minus the shape cutting and coolness, obvs). I also teamed it with this equally adorable and Autumnal owl bag from Nica, which is the perfect Oyster card and lippy size, and pretty understated at the same time- a big thumbs up from me.

Additionally, I also wanted to talk to you a little about how I paid for this outfit- "Well with money DUH", I hear you cry. Well yes, but on top of that, I also trialed a new web app called 'Give as you Live'. What this basically does is donate a percentage of your purchase to your chosen charity whilst shopping at certain retailers online- amazing, right? So buy purchasing this top and trousers I donated a little amount to my charity, without any extra cost- which could so easily be done be all of us, can you imagine how much that would raise (and I know you all love online shopping)? If you want to learn a little more, head over here- it's pretty awesome indeed.
and here's what I wore...
