Do you ever have those pieces that you have, and wait and wait to wear- and then leap at the first opportunity that comes around? Well that's pretty much how I felt about this gorgeous car coat last week. All it took was my dad watching the weather forecast and claiming 'it's going to be a chilly day!' for me to rush upstairs and whip it on. Okay- it was still about 19 degrees, and the sun was out in full force, so perhaps I looked a little keeno for Autumn (which, let's stress, I am not), but it was pretty wonderful getting to parade about in something that's been longingly hung on my bedroom door since April- and something that makes me feel a little more 'Grace Kelly' than normal, which is never a bad thing.

On top of that, I paired my new favourite coat (which, although may be out of stock will be back verrrry soon) with these sassy Celine sunnies and some ASOS pumps that have seen me through all sorts (and are so buttery soft that I could probably walk a marathon in them) which, cough, complemented my unusually tanned legs which are the only visible proof that I may have been on holiday recently- oh to be pale!
