Winter Florals

(Hat: ASOS, Top: Topshop, Bag: C/O Aspinal, Trousers: C/O Motel, Shoes: Dorothy Perkins)
If there's one thing that I'll never tire of doing on a Sunday (you know, bar having a huge lie in)- it's heading to Columbia Road Flower Market. Although it's probably not the most relaxing way to spend a morning (if you're willing to change your alarm clock to a man bellowing 'TWO FOR A FIVAAA!' you're absolutely fine)- but it never ceases to make me smile, and when there's cheap flowers involved all the better- and hey, we have to appreciate these last days of summer, right? On top of that my mum, dad, brother and cousin had never visited before- so I took the opportunity to show them one of my favourite corners of East London, but not before indulging in the most wonderful Sunday brunch at Hoi Polloi (if granola, eggs and string quartets are your thing then head this way...)

I also made a special effort to show them Lily Vanilli- which is one of my ultimate post flower-buying rituals and made sure we stocked up on rose, coconut and apple cakes and sea salt brownies to indulge in at home with a good cup of tea- a treat day if ever there was one!
