OPI – Dining Al Frisco

I was invited to the press release event for OPI‘s San Francisco which is the name of their collection this autumn, and I went together with Feline. All of us who attended received a bag with the 15 polishes that the collection consists of, and also an umbrella. I immediately found two huge favorites in the collection which I will write about some other day. Dining Al Frisco is not one of those two polishes, and I don’t want to get too sidetracked from the main subject of this post.

In fact, I deemed this lacquer to be one of my least favorite out of the bunch. Light blue with a frosty and icy touch is so not my cup of tea, but when it ended up on my nails I didn’t hate it as much as I thought I would. Actually, I didn’t hate it at all.
Dining Al Frisco was rather easy to apply, and it didn’t take much effort on my behalf to make sure the brush strokes were even and such. The two layers I applied dried quickly after putting some top coat on, and I ended up liking this manicure way more than I thought was possible. I didn’t perceive it as frosty as in the bottle, and the polish actually holds a lot of really fine blue glitter that contrasts against the base. I know it’s not very visible in my pictures, but I swear that it’s there.

Polish provided to me for review.
