OPI – A-piers to be Tan

Helt ärligt så är det inte direkt trevliga associationer jag får av den här färgen, men konstigt nog så tyckte jag att den var ganska smickrande när den väl var på naglarna. Jag trivdes nödvändigtvis inte i den dock, eftersom jag ena stunden tyckte att det såg okej ut och sen fick det mig bara att tänka på saker jag inte vill nämna vid namn här och nu. I kombination med “rätt” hudton tror jag att den här halvbrända karamellfärgen kan vara riktigt snygg dock.
Jag vet inte om jag har börjat vänja mig vid krämformulan i den här kollektionen eller om den faktiskt var bättre, för A-Piers to Be Tan täckte bra på tre lager och var okej att måla med. Inte bra-okej, men långt från att vara horibel som till exempel First Date at the Golden Gate.

What do you think of when you see this color? In the bottle, I thought it looked like something I don’t want to mention right here and now and honestly.. I disliked it. A lot. Surprisingly enough I thought it suited me quite well. Did it make me feel comfortable wearing A-Piers to Be Tan? Not really. My mind couldn’t decide if it just looked nasty or if it was a suitable tone of dark caramel. I bet it would look awesome to the “right” kind of skin tone though.
I’m not sure if I’m starting to get used to the formula of the creme polishes in this collection or if this bottle actually had a better one, because I thought it was okay to polish with. The color reached full opacity in three coats and dried fairly quickly.
