My trip to Mexico

As I promised, here are some pictures of my latest trip to México. I have decided to divide it on two different posts as I got so many nice pictures that I would like to show you. In these pictures you can see the famous pyramid of Tulum, on top of a cliff surrounded by a beautiful white sand beach and the Caribbean Sea. On one of the pictures you will see there´s a kind of cage on the beach. They use them to mark the turtle’s nests as they are protected species. The water inside the cave is called a Cenote. You can swim in them and this one was full of fish, so I was literally kicking them while I was swimming, as there were so many :)
The super high pyramid is the Cobá one, it is in the middle of the rain forest and was such an achievement to climb up, the steps were so inclined, it was a bit dangerous.
The crafts in México are so colorful, I bought a beautiful ceramic hand painted red skull, painted with the extract of a flower that grows in the rainforest. Handmade fabrics are also so gorgeous.
The little bears are coatis; they were living in the resort gardens we stayed in!!

Como os prometí, aquí tenéis algunas de mis fotos de mi viaje a México. He decidido dividirlo en dos posts ya que tengo tantísimas fotos bonitas que me gustaría enseñaros. En estas fotos podéis ver la famosa pirámide de Tulum, que está en lo alto de un acantilado rodeado de una preciosa playa de arena blanca y el mar Caribe. En una d las fotos veréis que hay una especie de cubierta en la playa. Las usan para marcar los nidos de tortugas, ya que son especies protegidas. La laguna en la cueva se llama Cenote. Puedes nadar en ellas y esta estaba llena de peces, les iba dando todo el rato mientras nadaba, de todos los que había :)
La pirámide tan alta es la de Cobá, está en mitad de la jungla y fue todo un record subirla, ya que estaba súper inclinada y era un poco peligroso.
La artesanía en México es muy colorida, compré una calavera preciosa pintada a mano, utilizan como pintura un extracto de flores que crece en la selva. Los tejidos hechos a mano son preciosos también.
Los pequeños ositos son coatis; vivían en los jardines del resort en el que nos alojábamos!!
