Black Friday Sales on My Favorite Stuff
Did you notice my amazing new wool coat in this picture? It’s from J. Crew, and it’s the best thing in the world.
I was in desperate need of a warm coat for New York, so my mom bought it for me as an early Christmas gift, and thank the lord she did, because it saved my life. It feels pretty lightweight, but it’s CRAZY-warm, and so soft and comfortable. I got compliments on it left and right, too.
When we got the coat, it was 25% off, but now it’s 30% off for Black Friday with the promo code HOLIDAY. Uh, that’s $105 off. You should probably jump on that. Just go ahead and buy it NOW. The sale runs until Sunday, but I would guess it’ll sell out fast – I practically had to fight some little woman in the store for mine. FYI, it has a great stretch, so if you’d prefer it a bit more fitted, you can size down. Mine is a size 4, and I was expecting to need an 8! Needless to say, that made me very happy.

I got it in navy a couple weeks ago, and I’ve already worn it three times. With pants, for the record. It’s really flattering – loose in the right places, but fitted enough in the top and sleeves to not look shlubby. Plus, all sale is an extra 25% off right now, so it’s only $22.49. I’m kind of tempted to buy the other two colors. I’d recommend you do the same.
