To Make You Feel My Love

Nars candle burning and I’m looking at the leaves on the trees outside my window quiver at the wind. I love how they shimmy and dance, sway left and right with the breeze like one chorus.

Now, all I do is wait for my love to return home with our first cup of morning coffee, perhaps a croissant and a hash brown. We had the best meal at Cicheti in Singapore’s Kandahar St last night. It was a wonderful meal.

We’re going to be planning our next trip abroad today which to me, combines the best of family with fresh sights and a whole lot of love. Not knowing what to expect is the most exciting thing. Granted, I’m back in Paris in the next fortnight or so but there’s something really exciting about a new horizon.

And what are we up to creatively? We’re just about to deliver a fresh new batch of matcha lemongrass soaps to the table at In Good Company x Tangs (Orchard Road, Level 2) and are loving our stockist, Temporium (72 & 74 Dunlop St in Singapore). If you are in the mood for a feelgood aromatherapy product or looking for that perfect gift for a loved one, you have to come on by!

We also made a new batch of the Awakening Organic Sugar Scrub (see the making of below!) which is such a delight for dry skin and weary minds. First, you’re hit by this sparkling accord of lush geranium and it’s only after you buff your body with the organic demerara sugar that the woodsy notes of patchouli and ginger come through. I know what you’re thinking – blech, ginger, but they’re something really grounding and cleansing about it. No wonder it’s so good for detox!

And now, back to work. I’m sorry if there’s a lag between emails and posts these days. There’s always such a fine line between being productive and staying inspired and excited to create new and wonderful things. Forgive us while we try to get that balance spot on!
