Love in the Future

Watched a great documentary on Cartier on the plane ride home from Paris last night which was nice follow up to the huge exhibition we saw in Paris earlier this year during winter. I’m always so fascinated to learn about the genesis of brands and fashion/luxury history in particular, so this documentary trumped all the Friends re-runs in-flight for me.

They played this clip from How to Steal a Million with Audrey Hepburn and Peter O’Toole which I absolutely adored. Love how he kind of chucks the box at her and we only really catch a glimpse of the ring but it’s a stunner. Wish I could find the scene online but it doesn’t exist. Alas, we’ll just have to watch it later…
