TREASURES

Found a good use for this old bookcase, which I actually wanted to get rid of at first. As Carrie said: ‘I like my money right where I can see it…’. As do I. Baptized it as a ‘trophy’ wall with some of my favourite designer items.

On photos you’ll see among others my Alexander Wang Fabiana ‘Cape’ heels, Isabel Marant Blackson boots, my recently purchased Proenza Schouler PS11 Tiny bag and, maybe my most treasured item, this Givenchy envelope clutch – a birthday present from my boyfriend.

I was eying on that clutch for quite some time (without my boyfriends knowledge), but it was way too pricey to take home with me. He was lucky (and so was I!) to find it on SALE, which are always the best purchases! I have to say, probably 40% of my designer items are bought on sale or at an outlet. I always love hunting down old collections for a good price. One of my favourite places to do so, is Vestiaire Collective. They have tons of vintage designer items, but also unworn/brand new items, with a much more reasonable price tag attached to it. (And no worries everything is 100% authentic, all items are carefully selected by their curation team before being placed on sale)

I recently missed out on a pair of Balmain boots (remember this post?), for only 350 euros! I’m still sick about it. I’m now keeping an eye out at the Chanel bags section, and just maybe, I can add a Chanel Boy bag to my trophy wall. One day…..
