R+Co One Prep Spray

This year, I've been exploring all kinds of hair products as my hair has grown out, and I was particularly excited to see the launch of R Co in late summer. Founded by celebrity hairstylists Garren and Thom Priano, the Howard Mclaren of Bumble & Bumble, I thought this release was very promising. Additionally, R Co's range does not contain parabens, sulfates (SLS or SLES), mineral oil or petrolatum. Not only that, but the whole range is vegetarian, cruelty-free, gluten-free and color-safe!

I was super excited to have the chance to try out R Co One Prep Spray, a hair primer that contains aloe leaf extract, coconut oil, sweet almond protein, cucumber fruit extract, and prickly pear extract. Between all of these ingredients, the One Prep Spray is meant to repair and hydrate dry hair, seal in moisture, soothe the scalp and more. Sounds pretty nice, right?

And this spray is definitely as nice as it sounds. When I spend time in California, I always feel like the sun definitely damages or dries my hair if I'm outside for more than an hour two. This spray definitely prevents that, and it smells really good too! (The scent reminds me a bit of the Living Proof scent, but even fresher.)

R Co also says that this spray makes for a great revitalizer, and I would have to agree. It doesn't act as a dry shampoo to absorb oil, but it somehow manages to make my hair look clean and defined. I also can't help but point out the adorable packaging that the entire range has. I love it!

All in all, I'm really enjoying this spray and look forward to trying other items from the brand! Have you tried anything from R Co? Did anything from the brand end up on your wishlist? :)
