Because today is a holiday (woo!), last night acted as our Friday night. And you know what Friday night means…..DATE NIGHT! The best night!

So, here is what my night consisted of, in pictures:

Here is how it all went down: after work I hit up the rehabilitation facility/hospital to visit my dad. That was really nice. He was in good spirits and told me all about the hard work he had put in at physical therapy earlier in the day. His condition is much improved since his nearly month-long stay at the regular hospital, but he still has a tough road ahead. We just want him home already!

Next up: high-tailed it home to meet up with the hubby so we could head to dinner. Dinner was at one of our most-favorite wing joints, Buffalo Wild Wings. Seriously you guys. This place is the bomb.com. So.Freaking.Good. I think it might be a combination of the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, ahhhh…..I just love that place. Wings, sports on TV and the husband. What more could I ask for?

And now, for the finale of the night: DESPICABLE ME 2! I was beyond excited to go see this film and it DID NOT disappoint! In fact, I absolutely loved it! It was such and adorable film, I literally laughed out loud through the entire movie! I highly recommend it! Oh, and another thing: I want a minion of my own! They’re so darn cute!

And that pretty much wraps up date night. A successful and super fun evening with my lovie-dove!
