Kiehl's Glasgow Flagship Store

Last Thursday we took a trip to the new Kiehl's store on Glasgow's Buchanan Street. For those familiar with Glasgow you might think it's hard to imagine 111 Buchanan Street being anything other than Lush but the Kiehls store has completely transformed the space with two floors of skincare goodness. With the new store being the largest in Europe and 2nd largest in the world, us Glasweigans are in for a treat!

The store combines elements of New York style aesthetics and local heritage with the inclusion of Macintosh chairs in the new upstairs Lounge. Think old style apothecary with a modern twist. On the ground floor we enjoyed music by DJ Yasmin and some lovely cocktails with our favourite Scottish bloggers by Auchentoshan. Tallia Storm also performed later in the evening but sadly we missed her performance!

One thing to point out is the extensive mens collection. Usually mens products are hidden in a tiny corner in most skincare stores but the mens section is very large and spread throughout the store which is perfect for men who love a pamper. The upstairs mens section even features a shaving bar staffed with a skilled barber, fancy!

When we saw the photobooth, we had to give it a go. This will be a permanent fixture in the store and dare we say, probably the most flattering photobooth we've ever been in! We may have gone in for seconds..

All in all, it was a lovely evening and we'll definitely be back for our skincare fix. Now that the store has officially opened, make sure you give them a visit!
