Avon Gel Finish in Fabulous

Over the past few weeks I can't seem to get enough of gel finish polishes. For someone who changes their nail polish shade very often it's never really worth it to get the real deal so I'm continuing my quest for the perfect gel effect finish. So far I've tried Barry M, Models Own and Nails Inc's versions but this time I'm giving the Avon Gel Finish in Fabulous a try to see how it compares.

We've gone through so many Avon polishes in this household, one of my first ever polishes was actually a bright yellow shade from the brand. The quality has always been there but I often find they don't get enough recognition for how good they actually are.

As for the Gel Finish polishes, I have a few different shades to try out but my first is the shade Fabulous, a bright deep pink shade. If I were to compare the quality of the polish, I'd say it falls somewhere in the middle between Barry M Gelly Nail Paints and Nails Inc Gel Effects so we're off to a pretty good start!

The formula applies well and the shade is long lasting but I can't really see a difference between their regular polishes and the Gel Finishes. This may sound like a negative point, however it does show that the quality in the regular polishes are just as good.

If there's a shade in the range you fancy, definitely go and pick it up, you won't be disappointed. Otherwise if the regular polishes are slightly cheaper and have a similar shade, save yourself some pennies!
