DIY Fall Leaf Napkin Rings

I have a small obsession with napkin rings! I kind of just adore them. They are so simple yet they add so much fun to your tables with minimal work! Most of the time I can even get my kids to help make them! Today I whipped up some adorable Fall Leaf Napkin Rings! Supplies Needed:

• We R Memory Keepers Sew Ribbon Tool
• Your favorite fall cardstock and scrapbooking paper
• Fake Fall Leaves
• Ribbon
• Sticky Thumb
• Scissors or Cut and Score Board

I used my Trim and Score board to cut some strips of paper. You can really make these any width you want but I stuck to the same size as my Sew Ribbon Tool only for ease and it’s a good size for my napkins. I matched up one of my fake fall leaves that I had on hand from the dollar store. You can find these fake leaves in some of my other projects as well, like these napkins.

I adhered the leaf to the paper in the center with some sticky thumb. Just a tad to hold it in place while we cut the ribbon slots.

Next I grabbed my Sew Ribbon Tool. It is 2 separate plastic pieces with magnets and a puncture tool.

Separate the plastic pieces and place your paper with leaf inside. Place the top plastic piece back on and the magnets hold your paper and the plastic pieces snug!

Using the Puncture tool, punch each of the ribbon slots.

You are left with a strip with these great ribbon slots!

They give you this great “ribbon needle” that you can place on the end of your ribbon to help feed it through the slots. I had no problems just feeding it through without the “needle”. I also cut another strip of cardstock that is about a half inch wider on both sides than my orange piece.

Layer these together using sticky thumb.

Roll and adhere into a ring.

Place on your favorite napkin and instantly add fall charm to your table!!
