In the past the meaning of this words was completely different by the meaning of everyday life. Lolita is the name of the novel of Vladimir Nabokov. The book speaks about an old professor that fall in love with his stepdaughter. Kubrik in the 1962 made a movie and than also Lyne in the 1997. After this the term Lolita definitively entered in our pop culture and also used by the fashion world.
Lolita means everything regarding childhood from the flowers dresses to the honeycomb bikini. A return to childhood who does not want to have any sexual connotation, a romantic fashion and not vulgar. Different thought regards the Japanese world, “lolita trend” shows their passion for manga mixed with the Victorian style era. Same name two different worlds and two opposite ways of interpreting fashion, I prefer with no doubt the European one and you?

Qual’è il vero significato che attribuiamo al termine “Lolita”?
Nel tempo l’utilizzo di questa parola, ma soprattutto il suo significato è stato distorto. Kubrik ne fa un film nel 1962 e poi fu la volta di Lyne nel 1997, da li il termine lolita si è insinuato nella cultura pop e fu ben presto utilizzato anche nel mondo della moda.
Lolita rappresenta tutto ciò che può ricondurre all’infanzia, abiti a fiori, tagli ad impero, bikini con lavorazioni a nido d’ape. Un ritorno all’infanzia che non vuole avere nessuna connotazione sessuale, una moda romantica e non volgare. La pensano in modo differente i Giapponesi che riversano nel “lolita trend” la loro passione per il mondo manga mixata allo stile dell’epoca vittoriana. stesso nome due mondi diversi e due modi opposti di interpretare la moda, senza dubbio preferisco quello europeo e voi?
